11 Days - 2,267 Miles Driven
We arrived at the Munich Airport with no travel plans... Asked the Car Rental Clerk where we should go and he said why not go to Italy... and we said why not. So we got in the car and started driving south. Picked up a tour book along the way and had a awesome road trip though Germany and Austria finally arriving in Northern Italy exhausted. This trip trip took us as far as Rome and saw all sorts of great sights. Glad we did it , as we ended up seeing the Pope which was a highlight for me.
