When Jon heard that I was the Dekalb County Offensive Linemen of the Week in 1979 he asked me for some advice - I told him - when a player obstructs another player's path with his body it's called blocking - I explained a few techniques that worked for me back in the day - like the Cut block, Zone block, Trap block, Pull block, Screen block, Pass block, Double-team block. I have to admit he liked what he heard - he's going to pass these ideas to Andy Reid and his line coach!
