Unbelievable!!!
THANK YOU MY FRIENDS...
With your help we raised over $26,000 in relief funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Many people helped but none more so than Chris DiAntonio and Lori Lane of Beach Creek who call the 9th Ward of New Orleans their home during the winter months. It was their idea to put on this benefit and I am honored that they asked for my help. In less than 10 days we reached out to our local community for support... and support we received ... 26,000 times over!
Thank You Beach Creek Oyster Bar & Grille Staff. The Waiters, Waitresses, Bartenders, Cooks and Chefs all reported to work on Tuesday WORKING FOR FREE to support this relief effort and insured its success.
Chef Jim and his staff served delectable items that equaled the quality of the dinners they serve nightly. Dan Powell, along with Marta from the Big Fish Restaurant Group made sure the night ran smoothly and went well beyond the call of duty.... thanks...
Thank you to Mike DiAntonio, Pat DiAntonio, Jim Salasin, William "Yogi" Kurtz and Joe Rymer owners of the Big Fish Restaurant Group who donated ALL the Food, Beer and Wine to insure that 100% of the proceeds went to our fund.
Many thanks go to Kreni DiAntonio, Bob Conroy and Vicki Lynch who did an awesome job helping along the way.
Thank You to the United Way of Cape May County - Suzanne, Flo, Missy, Beverly and Commissioner Bruce - y'all are the best!
Thanks are also in order to our local business community that donated over 40 gifts and certificates for our raffle which raised over $1,500.
The Auction... wow... that was a tough act... Thank You to all of those who participated. We could not have done it with out all the great items we received. I have to thank Jack Daniels, Joe Franco & Family and the Beach Creek "Dinner Package Crew" as these three items alone raised $4,700...
Bo Belasco - you are the man... you're always there... I know your arm must be tired from raising it for all of those auction items Tuesday night and the week before. THANK YOU!
To my good friend the Honorable Judge David DeWeese -- sorry about all the Curves jokes... please don't put me in jail... It was all for a good cause!
